Electrical Engineer Operations- Capricorn Copper Mine

• FIFO (120 km NE of Mt Isa)
• Operations & Projects support role

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

• 2-3 years experience in operational or design engineering capacities
• Zinc Slurry Process, Filtration and pumping plant
• Previous Mine; experience preferred

Technical

• Provide assistance as required by the site.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving process issues
• Scope small projects (drawings, bill of material)
• Review and update As-Built drawings, and site procedures.
• HV knowledge

Conditions:

• Start Date; – ASAP
• Duration – Long term to permanent if suitable 
• Rate; $ TBA
• Accommodation & meals supplied.
• Roster; 8/6 Roster Townsville, Cairns, Brisbane

Townsville
SUN METALS ZINC REFINERY

Sun Metals Zinc Refinery is located 15km south of the city of Townsville in North Queensland, Australia. The refinery produces a Special High Grade of Zinc metals which meet stringent quality standards required under its registration at the London Metal Exchange. Sulphuric acid, Low grade zinc concentrate and copper cake as a secondary product, are produced and sold to the international and domestic market.

Mechanical Tradesperson (Fixed Plant Fitter)

• Experience in the following equip – Belt conveyors, agitators, ball mills and other fixed plant equipment;

• Maintaining and condition monitoring of pumps, compressors and valve systems;

• Ability to work as part of a team;

• Ability to execute both planned and breakdown maintenance on a range of mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner;

• Plan and prioritise work

• Work unsupervised

Conditions:

• Hourly Pay rate:$51.49 per hr plus Penalties

• Day Shift

• Period of Services is ongoing 

Start Requirements:

• Clean Shaven

• Medical with Drug and Alcohol test required to work on Site; (We supply this)

This is NOT FIFO
You would have to be either Local or get yourself to Townsville.

Labours for Operation Services, Day workers 

• Previous experience preferred
• Perform tasks in the area for safe and efficient output of product.
• Ensure work area is clean,ready to go with sufficient spares and supplies.
• Check sheets and PM’s.
• Monitor plant equip and maintain equipment conditions.
• Follow all safety aspects of process maintenance, with particular emphasis on lockout procedures
• Carry out reasonable duties as nominated by the team leader

Conditions

1. Starting as soon as  possible
2. You would have to be either Local or get yourself to Townsville.

Conditions:

• Day Workers: 
• Pay rate $45.88 per hour, flat rate.

Start Requirements:

• Clean Shaven
• Medical with Drug and Alcohol test required to work on Site; (We supply this)
• Current Construction Card (white card)
